Adsorption of Azo Dye Onto TiO2 Nanoparticles Prepared by a Novel Green Method: Isotherm and Thermodynamic Study

چکیده

The current study examined the use of Sansevieria plant leaves extract as an environmentally acceptable, inexpensive, and safe green approach for creating titanium dioxide nanoparticles (NPs). Batch studies have been used to test particles' capacity bind azo dye congo red (CR), which has adsorbed from its aqueous solution. effects many factors, including weight TiO2 NPs, contact duration reach equilibrium, concentration CR, temperature, pH, investigated. Both Freundlich Langmuir models were analyze experimental results. According high values model's correlation coefficient R2, it is discovered that adsorption CR onto nano well-suited. kinetics analysis trials proposed pseudo-second-order. Thermodynamic data showed a physical process happens spontaneously endothermically with increasing unpredictability.
